This Georgian house which is surrounded by splendid mature trees is set in four acres of formal and informal gardens.

The yew pyramids and formal box edged beds either side of the lawn in front of the house, frame the view of the Dorset countryside beyond the ha-ha,while to the side of the house yew hedges enclose circular herbaceous borders behind which is a circle of pleached hornbeams.

The water garden with a pond and waterfall has been restored  and a fernery planted beside the shady path which leads to the new woodland where mown rides weave through the planting of native and rare trees, shrubs and roses.
The latest project is a bog garden with streams, paths and bridges.
