Objectives 2011.
The Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE) exists to promote the beauty, tranquillity and diversity of rural England by encouraging the sustainable use of land and other natural resources in town and country.

In the Dorset Branch we have five local Groups who monitor nearly every planning application to ensure they comply with the Council’s Plan Policy and Design Guidelines. Please contact us if you are unable to locate the information you require.

CPRE-backed Stop the Drop group calls on Dorchester councillors to tackle litter problem.

 

Liz Williams from Poole Borough Council is organising a morning community litter pick on 14th February starting at Sandbanks Beach Office and working along the shoreline towards Bournemouth’s beaches.

 

The Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE) says there has been an ' astounding' response' to the Traveller site issue. Dorset County Council has to find residential and transit sites in the county by 2013.  Consultation documents and questionnaires are available at libraries, district and borough council offices and consultation exhibitions.
