The Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE) shall seek to improve, protect and preserve for the benefit of the public, the countryside and the market towns and rural villages of the County of Dorset. In the Dorset Branch we have five local Groups who monitor nearly every planning application to ensure they comply with the Council’s Plan Policy and Design Guidelines. Please contact us if you are unable to locate the information you require.
Welcome to the DorsetBranch
March 17th Update: Campaigners led by DART(WW) and supported by Dorset CPRE were
triumphant after North Dorset District Council’s planning committee rejected the
Blandford Hill wind farm application today.
CPRE’s manifesto sets out our priorities for the next Government under the themes
of the right housing in the right places, the right infrastructure for the right
reasons and a beautiful countryside to sustain us all.
For the second year running Dorset CPRE is sponsoring the ‘Best Village Shop’ category
in the Dorset Best Village Competition 2015 organised by Dorset Community Action.
Deadline for entries is 6th April.
