The Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE) exists to promote the beauty, tranquillity and diversity of rural England by encouraging the sustainable use of land and other natural resources in town and country. In the Dorset Branch we have five local Groups who monitor nearly every planning application to ensure they comply with the Council’s Plan Policy and Design Guidelines. Please contact us if you are unable to locate the information you require.

M&S Big Beach Clean-up, Baiter Park beach in Poole on Saturday 26 April, from 12:30
pm. The Big Beach Clean-up is a nationwide initiative which encourages local people
to band together to help tidy up their nearby beach or canal. Run in conjunction
with the Marine Conservation Society (MCS), this year’s beach clean-up is more important
than ever as they expect to find an increase in litter due to the recent storms.
As an added incentive, customers who register in advance will receive a £5 money-off
at M&S voucher on the day of their beach clean.
Wishing all our members and supporters a very happy Easter holiday.
